Hallowell becomes 7th Maine community to ban flavored tobacco sales

WABI5: On February 12, 2024, the Hallowell City Council voted to end the sale of flavored tobacco products in the city. Councilor Michael Frett who made the deciding vote said it’s the right thing to do “what I’ve heard with regard to flavored tobacco and its outreach, it is an item that I view as dangerous to the youth of the city.”
