Shana is a lifelong tobacco control advocate and activist who has dedicated her career to this fight. Domestically, she led advocacy and policy efforts at the NYC Department of Health and managed national programs at the American Heart Association. Globally, she campaigned for tobacco control advancement at the United Nations through her role at Action on Smoking and Health and represented the World Heart Federation and its members at the WHO in Geneva, Switzerland. Shana joined the PAVe team in 2023 as Education and Regional Advocacy Manager. She earned her MPH from the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and an undergraduate degree in Public Health from The George Washington University.
